Poker Client for Linux Users

This clean-looking and highly-playable Texas Holdem Poker client at gpokr.com is written in GWT/AJAX by Ryan Dewsbury

Ryan's effort has received favourable notice from Micahael Arrington's Tech Crunch "a weblog dedicated to obsessively profiling and reviewing new Internet products and companies" ... "featured on CBS News, Technorati 100, Feedster 500, and CNet Top 100 Blogs." with an enviable 79,000-plus Feedburner subscribers.

I think Ryan has picked a solid platform on which to build his code by using the Google Web Toolkit: "a Java software development framework that makes writing AJAX applications like Google Maps and Gmail easy for developers who don't speak browser quirks as a second language."
